What is the wrong with your website?

Websites are front face of any business, and it is important to update & modify website regularly to get most benefits from it.

I have designed and customized various websites for my clients; there are few minor but very crucial mistakes that we are ignoring after website development which leads us to great disaster by not generating leads and business. Let's go through these one by one

1. Website is not optimized for small screens

Users are using Smartphone & tablet to visit, follow, get updates & purchase from their favourite brands, and they easily get what they want through Smartphone. Though, it's very crucial to have website which run smoothly & effectively on small screens of Smartphone & tablets, which we can achieve by implementing these 3 solutions.

2. Avoiding search engines' guide lines.

Search engines drive traffic of targeted audience and visitors to your websites, and they are doing same using some sorts of algorithms to give most accurate result to its users. It’s good thing for any business to get benefits from search engines by optimizing their website according search engines guidelines, which leads them to get listed in first page of searched result page.

Google offers Google webmaster tools to submit and review your website, where you can check issues & suggestions to make website search engines friendly. 

3. Every time need to go to developer for changes

Customization & maintenance is very tedious job if you are not aware with coding, and you have already hired developer for website development; and every time you need to get help from developer to customize and change very small things, which cost you much (for small scale & medium scale websites). But, there are some frameworks which you can manage easily without having any technical knowledge, and these frameworks are WordPress (for CMS websites), Shopify & BigCommerce (for eCommerce websites), PHPfox(for social networking websites), etc. 

Choose suitable frameworks for your website wisely :). 

4. Poor navigation & old designs

After spending great efforts to drive users to your websites; now, website should satisfy user's exceptions and needs that why he is visiting website and what he wants from websites. User should be able to navigate all pages of website easily so he can receive best from website. 

Poor Navigation & old designs leads high bounce rate mean user get frustrated and leave website once he didn't able to navigate through website’s pages. So, it’s important to make user-friendly websites with proper navigation. You can provide links through call to action buttons, navigation menu, sidebar, etc.

5. Social media profile not integrated

Humans are easily get influenced by their friends and relatives, and seek their review & suggestions before making any choice. Now, they are all connected through social media as Facebook, LinkedIn, Twitter, etc. Social media are good medium to build great brand and to promote your products & services very easily.

You should include social media icons to your website so they easily connect on you social media. Integrate suitable social media to your lading page by embedding your social media profile’s feeds, followers, photos, etc.
